Stoner metal giants Sleep are back with a new track, part of Adult Swim’s singles series, that will be a vailable as a free download starting July 21st.
The band has been away for quite long, with their members participating in other very successful acts (Om, High On Fire, Shrinebuilder, Asbestosdeath) but since they reunited in 2009 in the UK to perform two live sets as part of the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival, they have been active, playing live gigs and according to Al Cisneros, working on a new record since 2014.
This new 10-minute beast is nothing less than what you should expect from Sleep. As the band themselves put it, “The Clarity is a lyrical follow-up to a lifetime of marijuana enjoyment.” Listen below…
