Virginian shoegazers Screen Vinyl Image have just shared a new video for the song Great Beyond, off the split record with Bloody Knives.
Often described as Suicide meets My Bloody Valentine, SVI seem to love equally echoing guitars and heavy synths, blending shoegaze and darkwave electronica to perfection. With three full lengths and a bunch of EPs released so far, there's quite enough material start with, if you're not already familiar with this excellent band.
The video was put together by Psyche Coaster and it features skaters in the Apocalypse, perfectly matching the song's mood.
The album is still available on limited edition green tinted tape at the band's Bandcamp page.
