One of the most imposing paradigms of newly released dark Americana comes from London-based artist, Blake, whose debut single Ain't Found No Gold has just been unveiled, emerging as an intriguing preview for the upcoming album which will drop later in the year.
Blake began as a solo project of Blake Robson, who recorded the upcoming record in Sweden and Brighton, but it later developed as a full band, planning to go on tour to support the album soon.
With influences ranging from the timeless blues and classic country, to a more contemporary rock sound and singer-songwriter folk, Blake's debut single is coming on strong and bold. The dark storytelling song in all its simplicity and directness appears as a well-founded introduction to Blake's songwriting and impassioned deliverance.
