London's Slowcoaches are coming on strong. The band is fresh off their signing to Sonic Unyon Records which is about to repress their much notable debut album, Nothing Gives, and they have just presented us with a staggering new punk rocker, titled Found Down and released as a single alongside a cover of the Misfits classic, Skulls.
"It's about how the 'struggle' of the artist is glamourised by mainstream labels via the media in order to sell records," bassist/vocalist Heather Perkins says about the new song. "And it's about how mundane and frustrating the day-to-day reality of that struggle can actually be, whether that's mental, financial or something else."
Vigorous, absolutely raw and coming with an original punk mindset, the spirited trio's new single is characteristic of the band's intensity and radical spirit, and in summary, it slays.
