Hardcore punk has had a great 2018 with a lot of reputable albums among the year's finest, still, it's always gratifying to dig a little deeper into the genre's core to ferret out findings that can be considered a little more obscure or just not massively discovered yet.
Seattle's City of Industry are a fresh hardcore trio whose latest single, Guilt, comes up impressive, memorable, venturous and incredibly weighty in all its brevity, acute production and strong instrumental muscle.
More from where all this shrewdness came from can be found on the band's recently released full length, American Habits Are Hard To Break, out via the hard working DIY label, Amerikan Aesthetics.
