Meet Jettes, a dynamic garage rock twosome composed of one half of another duo, Laura Lee from the acclaimed German garage rockers, Gurr, and Melody Connor who moved halfway across the world, from Seattle to Berlin, to connect with his online friend and develop their fresh musical endeavors.
A melodic and gritty rocker produced by the band themselves, Traces becomes a strong introductory single, and a fine preview of this partnership's great chemistry, and winsome traditional rock 'n' roll sound.
"Traces is about just wanting so leave so bad that you end up making all the wrong decisions," the band reveal about the song's aim, and add about the creative process: "Triggered by the plane hijacking in Seattle in August 2018, we wrote the song to capture a feeling of 'well shit now it's too late to turn around'. The whole process of recording and mixing happened in Frankfurt, Germany between Laura's extensive tours with Gurr while the video was made in the back of her tour van while driving through the US."
A debut EP is already done, as the fresh project kicks things off in a forceful and impressive manner.
