A little after their EP, Sown, Canadian shoegaze act, Sicayda, reveal their last single release before they turn their focus on the realization of their sophomore EP which is expected in Summer 2020.
Caught In The Rain shows a bit of a heavier and more psychedelic direction, with the band's steady shoegaze underpinning always put on prominent display. It's a solid statement of the weightier approach for which Sicayda aim, and which also transforms into a framework for the band's soon to be expected endeavors.
Despite the fact that it's anchored structurally and instrumentally, the new song also displays the quartet's tendency for more freeform compositions, as well as some of their more metallic side.
