Synthwave master, Code Elektro, brings his inherent knack for cyberpunk aesthetics and the retro pop/progressive new age sounds, to a whole other level, this time with a brand new track which crosses over to industrial and more rock-bent territories, as it was recorded at a sold out concert, and features a live rock band.
Wolf Live 2020 was captured at Radar in Aarhus, Denmark, before the Covid crisis, with a full house and a strong response from the crowd, while the accompanying video footage features scenes from the entire concert.
Whether this is an example of the artist's new direction moving forward or just another aspect of the intricacy that comes with his atmospheric sound, Code Elektro's rock drift is certainly very welcome, and it seems to be complementing the artist's compositional style in a very organic way.
