GHXST: U R My Night

U R My Night, the third piece revealed from the coming EP by New York's GHXST, finds the duo at their bluesiest and grungiest mode, while it's also very much in keeping of the direct, unambiguous and expertly produced dark shoegaze sound for which the band has been known through their past releases.

This slower approach of U R My Night achieves a pretty moody atmosphere very easily, while staying close to a more unembellished songwriting style which doesn't over-complicate anything, still, it feels rather elaborate in sentiment and tone.

Inspired by the book of the same name by James Baldwin, GHXST's Dark Days EP releases in its entirety on November 16th, 2020.
