Sicayda keep on with the larger, grungier and more voluminous approach to their sound with new single, Sometimes. . . Feels, a direct continuation of their overall darker angle, and the follow up to the equally dark and weighty, Deeper In.
The Toronto band take a riskier path and sound very confident in the process. They come forth with something that's not totally accessible, at least not to the unfamiliar ear, yet, it's pure and full of deep sentimentality, jumbling emotions of all kinds.
This time around the levels of energy are also rather high, as the song seems to be mixing the extreme fuzz of early Smashing Pumpkins and the distortion mastery of MBV into something that feels inherent, organic, and entirely of their own.
