Untouched is the second single revealed off Altars, the coming album by New Hampshire-based post punk act, Old Moon, helmed by musician Tom Weir. Altars is the project's debut full length, and it's expected out on July 9th, 2021 through A la Carte Records.
Sad, shoegaze-bent post punk with a shadowy feel, and a great production courtesy of Shaun Durkan from Weekend and Soft Kill, denote Old Moon's artistry, as both examples off the coming album thus far offer detectable signs of maturation in Weir's songwriting. Old Moon has previously broken ground through a couple of EPs, and now seems more than ready and competent to come forth with a riveting full length, all by way of idyllic lyricism and sweet-toned instrumental melancholy.
