After a trilogy of singles, Las Vegas' Luxury Furniture Store release their album, Bedrot, a fresh gothic rock and post punk example which counts on the genre's past, but also has the air of a current and relevant endeavor.
One of the album's finest moments, IV, is a neat and tidy conjunction of post punk and shoegaze with an overarching sense of darkness, a piece which could have easily been a standout single, and something which expresses both the band's edge and their sensitivity. Soft vocals meet ideally with the well constructed instrumentals, as LFS appear inviting, a little more each time.
Bedrot is an underground breakthrough waiting to be discovered.
