Toronto band Sicayda return with a specially heavy new blend of noise rock, grunge and shoegaze. K-Y-E stands for Kill Your Ego, and it's described by the band as "a mantra for those who pretend and sacrifice their people for their own goals."
With a wall of a gazey sound as the foundation, the grungy new track is an instant winner which continues in the same loud direction of their self-titled EP from earlier in 2021.
"This track is about dealing and confronting with those that you thought would side with you against ideas they themselves pretend to espouse," Sicayda comment.
