Bringers of distinct heaviness, Lithuanian band, Sisyphean, will be releasing their new album, Colours of Faith, in May 2022 through Transcending Obscurity, and all indications so far point to a work of exquisite and pristinely crafted atmospheric black metal.
Hearts of Mercury, one ore standout piece, jumps out for its precision, its wrath, and brutality, as well as its philosophical standpoint.
The band describe: "The track was inspired by theses of the Buddhist worldview and an observation that the world is imperfect and naturally unsatisfactory for human nature. We, as humans, tend to avoid this predicament by using such things as faith and religion to stuff the emptiness in our understanding."
