Nightosphere is a fresh band from Kansas City, Missouri, which have emerged with a few live gigs since their formation in 2021. Claire Delaney and Brittany Sawtelle, who are both new to the bass and took it up expressly for this project out of an interest in learning, alternate between guitar/vocal and bass responsibilities throughout their live set. Dekota (hop) Trogdon, the band's drummer, completes the lineup.
The three-piece band offer their debut single, Foxfire, a piece centered on lyrical poetry and warm instrumentals, exemplifying Nightosphere's exquisite artistry, and coming across as a work which is certainly promising for the group's immediate future.
Foxfire arrives with an emotionally strong sound based on shoegaze and slowcore creative tendencies, compelling in both its composition and its emotive sonic signature.
