Following the release of their recent debut single, strangers, new band fairfields are back with their sophomore single, revolver. The track combines noticeable shoegaze guitar elements, post punk powered drums and engaging basslines, together with hazy dreampop vocals.
The band's music is once more based on the archetypes of shoegaze and dreampop, but by using a bit of a moving post punk framework, they remain loyal to their objective of steadily branching out, and not being constrained by any of the particular style which make up their sound.
