Mind Prisoner are back with a cover of a contemporary post punk great, which was previously only available as a bonus track on the tape version of their debut EP. Californian dark rockers FEARING originally released In The Fog on their 2017 EP, Black Sand.
While a change from the utterly dark extreme metal approach of their debut album which carried a lot of despondency, the Pacific Northwest duo heavily draws inspiration from post punk, darkwave, shoegaze and all nearby subgenres which they also explore in their other project, NIGHTSISTER.
This new take of In The Fog surely pays respect to the original, and shows Mind Prisoner's propensity for innovation as well as their love of heavy and gloomy sounds, unifying the two worlds they skillfully pursue.
