It goes without saying surely, The Boss is like bread and butter and despite mixed reviews, I think the new album certainly deserves your immediate attention. High Hopes is a collection of cover songs, out-takes and re-recorded versions of tracks from past albums, EPs and tours. This time it’s not so much about the innovation, but more about the influence Springsteen draws in from other artists, as he links up with Tom Morello who puts a nice stamp on this soul-rock project.
