Texan post-rockers/shoegazers Hammock just released an excellent new music video for the track Sinking Inside Yourself out of their 2011 album Asleep in the Downlights, directed by David Altobelli.
The camera follows a girl in her own world, roaming around, somehow detached from the rest of the surroundings, with the music serving as the ethereal background and providing peeks of false hope and expectation, but in the end reality is much different. Like the song title suggests, this is a very well crafted ode to isolation.
