Cold Beat is a Bay Area band led by Hanna Lew (Grass Widow) whose debut album Over Me was released a couple of months ago via Crime On The Moon to very positive reviews.
The video for UV is directed by Lew herself and it’s an excellent example of post-punk coldness and dark aesthetics, featuring candles, knives, sunglasses in the dark and a whole lot of stobe light.
