Vintage soundtrack and reissue excerpt label Death Waltz, has announced Death Waltz Originals, a series that will be aiming its attention at original music.
The new series will kick off with a collaboration between Umberto and Antoni Maiovvi, who will be re-scoring the horror classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre with new music. The album is going to be called The Hook & Pull Gang and will run in a limited series of 800 copies on vinyl. The records will be available at special screenings of the movie that will feature the original dialogue and sound effect, but will contain the new music over the top.
On September 21st at MondoCon in Austin and on September 27th at Beyond Fest in Los Angeles, Umberto and Antoni Maiovvi will be performing the score live in its entirety at special screenings of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
