The mighty Alice does his take on The Beatles’ Eleanor Rigby for the upcoming Paul McCartney tribute, The Art Of McCartney.
His take is very faithful to original classic, paying respects to the songwriters that influenced him and his band so much back in the day, the Lennon-McCartney songwriting duo and as Alice puts it, they were looking "always going to be a little more horse-powered than the Beatles were, but always referred back to those melody lines."
Alice Cooper also did a cover of McCartney’s Smile Away from his 1971 solo record Ram, which will appear as a bonus track in the release’s deluxe edition.
