The new Kreeps project under the moniker The Grim County Coroners is a collaboration between the band, illustrator Drazen Kozjan and graphic designer and photographer Robert Nixon.
The album is called The Curse Of Grim County and it is being released in parts and in a series of limited formats, including a collector’s box, to eventually form a mini album.
According to Dom Kreep, the record is “an attempt to stitch together surf, rockabilly and jump blues with lurching, experimental, early-synth soundtracks.” Part one, Up Jumped The White Devil/Dance Of The Spider Woman, is already out on a couple of 7-inch vinyl versions, as well as the collector’s 8” x 8” box that features a handcrafted Halloween board game and will hold the Coroners’ future releases.
The latest installement of the album is the track Voodoo Walk, also available on the Snowbeast Records’ Halloween Compilation No2: Gatherings.
