Original Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer, Bob Burns died on April 2nd in a car accident, aged 64.
According to Associated Press the accident is still under investigation, it was a single vehicle accident and Burns was the only person involved, as the car veered off the road and hit a mailbox and a tree, while he wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
Bob Burns was one of the founding member of the legendary band and behind the drum kit on their first two records. He left the group in 1975 to be replaced by Artimus Pyle for Nuthin' Fancy.
