The indie pop duo from Portland, Pure Bathing Culture are back with their follow up to Moon Tides. Their 2013 album was one of the albums of that year. In response to that, it's safe to say Pray for Rain lives up to it too.
The duo Sarah Vesprille and Daniel Hindman have worked some magic into this release and it has way more potential than it's predecessor.
The sound of Pray For Rain doesn't ever shy away from being melancholic, albeit you have to look deeper into the lyrics to get that, but also at other times you cant help feeling yourself drifting off back into a now-distant summer, by the breezy tempo and harmony of the vocals.
