After being around, destroying for more than a decade, Portland's Graves At Sea are finally releasing an album. The Curse That Is will be out on April 1st via Relapse and from the sounds of the first, self titled track from it, it seems like it was definitely worth the long wait.
It's about time this fine doom/sludge band escapes the somewhat cult status they've kept among fans of underground heavy music, reach a wider audience and appeal to the younger generation. The Curse That Is will probably have no problem ensuring all that.
