Described as an effort by the band to make "the grossest pop album of all time," No One Deserves Happiness is yet another outing via Portland's darkest duo, The Body, which comes out on March 18th via Thrill Jockey.
Keeping themselves busy with amazing collaborations with a such diverse list of artists like Krieg, The Haxan Cloak, Thou and most recently The Bug and Full Of Hell, this is the first time since 2013's Christ, Redeemers that The Body are releasing a record under their name only.
Shelter Is Illusory, featuring vocals by Maralie Armstrong from Humanbeast is the first track they've shared and it's so accessible, it's probably the weirdest thing we've ever heard from them, just because for The Body's standards it's not weird enough!
Read the lengthy press release on their Bandcamp and pre-order on various formats and bundles via Thrill Jockey.
