The fourth album by Salt Lake City's experimental sludge doom band, Subrosa is titled For This We Fought The Battle Of The Ages and it will be out on August 26th on Profound Lore.
Following the critically acclaimed More Constant Than The Gods, Subrosa attempt to inflate their sound to a heavier and even darker than before tone with expertly controlled production which helps build up the musical and vocal experimentation to a higher level.
The 13-minute track, Wound Of The Warden is an exemplary song of the new album's spirit and one of the gloomiest new tracks you can listen to right now.
In support of the new album, the band will tour extensively beginning on the date of its release at Las Vegas, in Europe throughout September and October and back in the US in November. Check out the tour dates below.
