German shoegaze trio, The History Of Colour TV, is about to return to action with their first new material since 2014.
Wreck is the first single off their upcoming third album, Something Like Eternity, scheduled to be released in 2017 via Cranes Records as well as the band's own imprint Weird Books.
The new song is a bittersweet, melancholic number, a good example example of the band's skillful artistry in combining the colorful loneliness of the dreampop side with the bold nervousness of their shoegaze aspect, while the track slowly reveals itself, climaxing to a dark, distorted closure.
