Patti Smith Live At Rockpalast 1979 was filmed at the notorious festival in Essen, Germany on April 21st 1979 with a band that consisted of her, Lenny Kaye, Ivan Kral, Jay Dee Daugherty and Bruce Brody and including material from her first four legendary albums.
