Kraków Loves Adana is Deniz Cicek, an ex-dentist turned artist, based in Hamburg. She broke out in 2010 with her debut album, Beauty, followed by her sophomore LP, Interview, in 2012.
During those five years since the band's last album release Kraków Loves Adana put out a couple of singles and EPs, but their 2017 return comes with a third full length titled Call Yourself New which is due out March 24th on Better Call Rob (INgrooves/Rough Trade). The new album has already spawned two singles, the latest of which, Never Quite Right, is a magnificent example of Deniz's somber and smart songwriting. The source of inspiration for the song was a quote off a poem by Charles Bukowski.
The music video for Never Quite Right is made up of footage from the 1962 classic horror masterpiece, Carnival Of Souls.
