Former M83 member, Pierre-Marie Maulini, now going solo by the name STAL, has now dropped a new single,
Get Out which is the first release of his since relocating from Paris to L.A.
About the song, STAL states: "
I wrote 'Get Out' as a remembrance of my teenage years. I wanted to feel the raw sound of this period and the feeling of an unpredictable youth. I'm looking for a more organic sound than what I had on my first album, even more spontaneous. This track is a love letter to my first and eternal musical love - guitars," and adds, "
This song is a headlong rush, an escape to our wildest dreams."
Bridging synthpop with electronic indie rock, the track emits a substantial amount of youthful vitality and stands as a fine first sample from the artist's upcoming album which is expected later this summer.
