The last time we've heard from Jacob Bannon's solo non-Converge lo-fi project, Wear Your Wounds, was in 2013 when he followed his split release with Revelator with the unveiling of The Migration, an older track from 2001. It seems now that Wear Your Wounds has taken full shape and form and it's about to release its very first full length which will feature guest musicians Kurt Ballou (Converge), Mike McKenzie (The Red Chord, Stomach Earth, Unraveller), Chris Maggio (Sleigh Bells, Trap Them, Coliseum) and Sean Martin (Hatebreed, Cage, Kid Cudi, Twitching Tongues).
The album WYW is scheduled to be released on April 7th via Deathwish and the first sample off it, Goodbye Old Friend, is going to be the record's closing track.
Wear Your Wounds will appear on this year's Roadburn and embark on a European Tour this April which will include dates with Crippled Black Phoenix and Chelsea Wolfe.
