Amanda Glasser is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Baltimore, MD, whom you may have met before through her band, Purrer. A first taste off her upcoming solo debut album, Caelesti Radio, comes through its first single, Bed, a deeply melancholic bedroom pop tune which introduces its sadness with an alluring acoustic intro that takes up about the entire first half of the song, slowly building to a blooming fuzz that wins you over as soon as it kicks in.
About Bed. the artist herself has to say : "It is an encapsulation of the album's crushingly intimate narrative, which uses an incisive, internal symbolism to navigate the complexities of coping with trauma by learning how to love, how to fight and how to move on."
Bed was engineered by Craig Bowen (Lungfish, Cass McCombs, Half Japanese).
