Ralpheene is an alternative rock duo comprised of brothers Ray and Mike Peregrino, based in El Paso, TX, who have been around since 2004. The band has just shared with us their unbearably charming new single, The Grief Of The Seasick Ship, almost four minutes of excellent guitar pop bliss, served with the right dose of rock 'n' roll grit and a mellow hook, a compound that harks back towards the nineties noisy rock style of acts like Pavement, Sebadoh or Pixies and the pop sensibility of Weezer.
The world needs more of this.
