Since they arose from the ashes of their previous band, the Americana-driven Betsy Wells and reemerged as Twinsmith, the Omaha-based quartet with their dreamier synthpop approach have released a couple of noteworthy albums, which they're about to follow with a third one, Stay Cool, out via Saddle Creek on July 14th.
The jangly and super synth-y single, Matters, is the first sample the band has unveiled off their upcoming record, a nostalgic and sunshiny dreampop gem which finds them possibly in their sharpest form. In all its simplicity Matters sounds like a confident and pulsating with glowing energy track, plus like an intriguing teaser for the full-length that's about to come next.
