Among Authors: Imitation House

Despite having an amazing name for band, and having scored a short film called Dear Emma and a credit for an upcoming video game titled On A Roll, Seattle's Among Authors have indeed received some recognition early in their ventures, but not exactly the entire amount of the appreciation they deserve.

On the contrary, misfortune came aplenty. Lead singer and keyboardist Ian Ketterer almost died from an aneurysm in his heart and underwent open-heart surgery at the age of 23, just before he relocated the band from Wisconsin to Seattle, WA.

Deeply emotional and inviting through the post rock mannerisms and cinematic charm, the debut album by Among Authors, I Am Become, reveals an upcoming band with much drive and determination, along with much promise for the future.
