A couple of trustworthy sources where you may have encountered the contribution of Guggi Data before are Makthaverksan and Westkust, two excellent Swedish bands, one leaning more into post-punk while the other dwells more into shoegazing territories respectively.
His debut solo effort is simply titled Pop/rock, and its couple of singles so far Guggi Data justify the that title well. Both Baby and the latest, All There Is, are noisy and palpable indie pop/rock pieces which discharge plenty of energy and animation.
The upcoming album was recorded at Svenska Grammofonstudion by Hans Olsson Brookes, and it will be out on Luxury on August 18th, including the help of musicians from fellow Gothenburg bands, such as Slowgold, School '94 and Westkust.
