The second single off of J.D. King's upcoming album, Moon Gardens, is titled Eloise. The accompanying music video was shot and directed by French cinematographer and designer Juju Sorelli.
Eloise is a balmy bossa nova track, self-produced and recorded at King's home studio at the legendary Ramones Ranch in the Hollywood Hills, straight to tape using only vintage gear and instruments.
The song's vintage sounds and its abundant blitheness find a perfect match in the video's enticing Super 8 looks, in which stars Zoe Bleu as Eloise alongside J.D., and features a cameo by Linda Ramone who was also responsible for casting and wardrobe.
Following the release of his debut solo album, Here’s J.D. King, from way back in 2008, and the ventures of the critically acclaimed band, The Olms, which he formed with his good friend, Pete Yorn, J.D. King's upcoming album, Moon Gardens, will be out in Fall 2017.
