Less than a decade into their career as an instrumental post rock outfit, Germany's Collapse Under The Empire have released five studio albums and a good deal of singles and EPs, with their sixth full length ready and scheduled for release in October via Finaltune Records.
The first sample to emerge off the upcoming The Fallen Ones is the single Dark Water along with a grabbing accompanying video from Turkish producer Murat Kılıç. "Nothing has value unless we grant it, only we can give things meaning," quotes the band to introduce their new piece of work, their first since the excellent album, Sacrifice & Isolation, from 2014.
Once again evoking sounds and notions that will undoubtedly appeal to fans of Mogwai, God Is An Astronaut, Caspian and Explosions In The Sky, this brand new offering by the bright German duo looks and echoes powerful, and also very promising for the impending full length release.
