Comprised of Matthew Rozeik and AJ Cookson, Necro Deathmort is a hard to pinpoint duo that mingles a series of different sounds and styles, deriving from dark ambient, drone and noise, synth-driven electronica and film scores.
Following last year's The Capsule, the band unveil new music from their new full-length, Overland, their eighth album which from the first sounds of it appears like their most exploratory and ambitious effort yet.
Poliz is the upcoming record's opening track, which intriguingly introduces the rest of the album, as the band patiently and craftily works its way through the song's many layers without overplaying the production, until the piece erodes into its own ecstatic sonic surroundings.
Overland releases on Profound Lore on October 6th, 2017.
