She Flies A Tracer is the second single off the upcoming debut album by the incredibly auspicious Dutch band, Stillwave, following the mind-bending Cradle with equally intriguing sounds and sentiment.
On their new offering Stillwave mess up their own sound with samples and cut ups to a degree where the result would surprise its own creators. Combined with the enthralling, jumbled vintage visuals of the video, lifted from old color films, the song feels profoundly esoteric, as much as exciting through its deep lyricism and the once again enchanting instrumentation, and for its unorthodox artistry and cleverness it shines like a diamond in the rough.
