Have You Ever Seen The Jane Fonda Aerobic VHS?: Sheep

In case you have been jamming to the previous single by Finnish three-piece, Have You Ever Seen The Jane Fonda Aerobic VHS? (or HYESTJFAVHS? for short), chances are that you're all pumped up for the band's new release, another fun fueled single simply titled Sheep, and also taken from their forthcoming sophomore album, Jazzbelle 1984/1988.

Ekku Lintunen, the band's keyboardist and songwriter calls the track "an attempt to reduce ovinaphobia," by which he means the fear of getting molested at night by goats or sheep.

Tightly structured like a vintage pop song, and evocative of different styles, from sixties girl bands to garage punk, nineties Britpop and even glam rock, Sheep is a seven-minute, simple at first, more playful as it develops, and definitely more weighty piece than Magic Swimming Pants, with which HYESTJFAVHS? has dazzled us since late last summer.

Jazzbelle 1984/1988 is due to be released on January 19th 2018 on VILD Recordings and it follows the band's debut, Teenage Sweetheart from 2015.
