Since 2008 The Fresh & Onlys have been a force among the San Francisco's new garage rock scene. Over the years the band has developed a sound that blends a lot of diverse influences coming from psychedelia, new wave, and jangle guitar pop with a craving for the indie sound of the eighties.
Their very rich - for their less than decade long existence - catalog includes releases for seminal indie labels like Woodsist, Captured Tracks, Mexican Summer, In The Red, Sacred Bones, and Castle Face.
In support of their latest LP, Wolf Lie Down which is out now via Sinderlyn, the band has recently paid a visit to the Tapetown Studios in Denmark, where they recorded another of the Studio's brilliant series of sessions. The title track of The Fresh & Onlys' latest album is a garage/punk-rocking anthem which showcases the band's splendid lyricism and sets them again on a creative course, three years after their previous record of new material.
