The Altered Hours: Open Wide



A new EP by Ireland's The Altered Hours will be titled On My Tongue and it will be following the band's very well received debut album, In Heat Not Sorry.

The first single, Open Wide, is a perfect representation of the band's excellent blend of post-punk, shoegaze and psychedelic rock. It is dark and hypnotic as expected, while it also emerges utterly melodious and accessible, wearing its influences with admiration and confidence, like something that fans of both The Jesus And Mary Chain and The Cure could appreciate.

Unsurprisingly, On My Tongue is a release to watch out for, and it comes together with the band's string of live dates in Europe and the UK starting in March, with more to be added soon. Check out the dates below.
