Danish trio Catch The Breeze unveil the second single and video off their upcoming debut album, Glow, scheduled to be released both digitally and on vinyl on March 16th, 2018 on Kundalini Records DK.
Fields of Sunrise bases its hazy and dreamlike atmosphere on the band's signature dreampop and shoegaze sound, while the video takes the viewer alongside its starring character's colorful and intensely hallucinatory trip,
The video was recorded and edited by filmmaker, Nicolai Reinhold, and stars actor, Mathias Paysen.
Glow will be the follow up to the band's self-titled EP from 2014, and it expands on a wide range of genres, from the ambience of shoegaze and dreampop to more dynamic post punk straightforwardness. The upcoming album was recorded at Tapetown in Aarhus, Denmark by Rasmus Bredvig last year.
In two intense and focused live sessions the band went for a raw and organic approach to correspond with the euphonious and dreamy elements that are always present in their sound. Whether the band's more minimal side prevails or their more intricate and adventurous compositions take center stage, Catch The Breeze's wonderful musicianship, built around impressive soundscapes and the deep baritone voice of Aage Hedensted, comes always engaging and effective.
