Following last year’s very well received Teddy Bear EP, Australian indie/dreampop duo, Seattle Fix return with their first release for 2018, a beautiful new single titled Stone. for which they have enlisted the skills of producer Damien Charles (Gotye, Hiatus Kaiyote).
Singer/guitarist, Olivia Puchalski describes the new single: "Stone is about holding onto that part of yourself that'll see you through, when you're cornered. Sometimes you find yourself up against more than you think you can bear, or even against people you thought better of, so much so that you think you might lose a bit of yourself. It's about holding onto that strength that I think is in all of us, even if it's hidden at first."
Stone delivers a warm, dreamy vocal over a rich, post-rock-inclined backdrop, immersed in perfect production and showcases a band in fast and constant progression, whose each release stands firmer and more impressive than the previous.
Seattle Fix will be touring Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra throughout June and July.
