Danish post punk rockers, Iceage, have been generously releasing new singles and videos off their anticipated upcoming album, Beyondless, which follows the much acclaimed Plowing Into The Field Of Love from 2014.
The Day the Music Dies is the fourth track from the new LP which the band uncovers, and the second that gets the video treatment, right after Catch It. While very bleak, the song is the most immediate and straightforward number on the new album, and an unmistakable choice for a single. The video was co-directed by Iceage and Graeme Flegenheimer, shot in Detroit at the historic bathhouse, The Schvitz, and the Masonic Temple.
Beyondless comes out May 4th on Matador Records.
