One of the most consistent contemporary metal bands return with a new record, three years after the brilliant, All Fours. This time Bosse-de-Nage take a more tightly structured approach to their already compelling post back metal fury, and present us with Crux, which from the first listen feels like the most memorable piece the have come up with this far. The song still maintains all those properties that have always made the band's intricate sound so venturous and appealing, and it already comes confidently as one of the finest cuts of extreme metal music of 2018.
As usual, a very strong point for the song is its poetic lyrics; very much worth focusing on.
The band's upcoming full length, Further Still, will be released via The Flenser on September 14th, 2018.
