If the picturesque term "rotting electronic dance" doesn't seem very appealing, then move along, because the sound Matt Auxier produces as 6th Circle brings the grit and the bleakness in ample amounts, and it's not for the faint of heart.
Very close to the immersive darkness and hard hitting industrial sound of legends like Front 242 and Skinny Puppy, and analogous to more contemporary dark electronic acts like HIDE, the music of 6th Circle brings together enticing and provocative elements; pulsating rhythms, otherworldly vocals, obscure samples and overtones of gothic/post punk coldness into an all embracing, seamless blend.
New single Asmodeus is not shy on the darkness, and through it 6th Circle's fascinating version of EBM and industrial sticks out like sore thumb.
